I bought this item for my Curve 8900. It definitely makes things more convenient for me; however, the battery seems to have a shorter life than the original battery. I'm not sure why. For this reason I give it a four star rating instead of five.

This is a very good and affordable charger for an extra BlackBerry battery if you have one. It can also be used as a case to store the battery in while not in use, and is fantastic for travel. You'll need to hook it up to your existing AC adapter to charge the extra battery, but that's only an issue if you want to charge your BlackBerry and the extra battery at the same time.
